Contract and Place an order

When you buy our goods and services on the Internet, you are entering into a legally binding contract. The Point of Contract is defined as the time of despatch of the goods ordered.

Confirmation of order

Your order will be confirmed by email normally within 24 hours, of receipt of your order over the Internet.

Cancellation of order prior to dispatch

You have the right to cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it. This can be done by email, or telephone.

Product Information

Goods are supplied to the company’s standard specifications. We will endeavor to supply as much product and application information as possible, but Global Light technology is not able to assess the viability or suitability of every possible application of the product; it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the goods ordered are suitable for the application in which they intend to use them.

Guarantee and Product Reliability

Global Light technology products are highly reliable. However, just as light bulbs and fluorescent tubes cannot be guaranteed because the conditions under which they are used cannot be controlled, we are unable to offer guarantees on LED lamps and LED bulb light products installed by customers.

All Global Light technology products are fully tested before shipping.

Shipping

All orders are plus freight (except Standard Packaging Products). Orders shipped out of the continental US will require a special freight quote.

Return of Products

Items should be checked as soon as possible following receipt of goods. Claims will not be accepted for damages, shortages or packing errors unless they are reported within 48 hours of receipt.

To return goods for any reason please call or email return@globallighttech.com to request a returns authorization number, which should be displayed on the parcel. Products without a returns authorization number will not be accepted. A full description of the fault/reason for return should be included in the parcel. All returns should be shipped via a traceable method.

The decision of whether a refund is given will be made by our company. The cost of any items found to be damaged in transit, or missing, will be refunded to you within 30 working days of us receiving the items back.

Order Cancellation following delivery

If you wish to cancel an order for any item you are very welcome to return them to us within 7 working days from the day after the day that you received the products. Items will only be accepted if they are

a) unused

b) in the same good condition that they were delivered in. You must obtain a returns authorization number first

You will be liable for a full refund for the goods only will be made to you within 30 days of cancellation.

Limits of Liability

The foregoing shall constitute the exclusive remedy of the purchaser and the sole liability of  Global Light technology COMPANY  warranties. IN PARTICULAR, NO WARRANTY OR MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS MADE OR IS TO BE IMPLIED. In no event shall Global Light technology COMPANY be liable for any other costs or damages, including lost profits or revenues, incidental, special or consequential damages.

All prices are list prices and do not include shipping (unless noted), handling, taxes or installation. Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to change, modify, substitute or remove any information without notice on this website. Prices and availability of products are subject to change at any time. We also reserve the right to refuse the service to any customer and to amend these Terms & Conditions, all at any time without notice.
